How does it work?

Press the red button on top and the 4 claws at the end open. Push the flexible shaft into the drain, release the button so the claws close on the hair or dirt, then pull it out. Rinse and repeat until the water flows.

Which drains can I use it on?

Bathroom and kitchen sinks, showers, bathtubs and floor drains. In a toilet it helps you grab hair or small objects near the opening. It works best on blockages near the top of the pipe — for a blockage deep in the building's main pipe, you still need a plumber.

Do I need chemicals too?

No. The claw pulls the blockage out mechanically, so there's nothing to pour and no strong smell. Wear gloves if you like — what comes out is not pretty!
